CB:

Welcome everybody to another episode of Dream Makers Podcast. Oh fuck. Okay. I'm not even going to start again. It's CB here. Not that surprisingly, because you can probably hear her, I have. I was going to do a CB solo, but it's a CB solo plus GB. Hello Jen Jen. Hello, nice to be here. Alright, I'm going to pop this on the dash. Do you want to paint a picture of where we are and what's happening?

GB:

Sure. We're in my car. We've just been for a beach walk at Port Willunga. And we're, yeah, we're sitting in the car. We're in Port Willunga. Claire is in, she's got no pants on and in a hoodie, just she's been in the ocean and I have got pants on and I've not been in the ocean. And you're how many weeks pregnant? 37. 37.

CB:

Oh. Yeah, 30, almost 37, 37 this week. And Jen thought we weren't gonna get another episode in before she had the baby.

GB:

That's not necessarily true.

CB:

Sort

GB:

of. I'm glad to be here though.

CB:

Surprise! I'm stoked. It's happy Monday vibes and what I thought we could do is I don't tend to go too hard working on a Monday, but I've set myself like a two week game on intention. I feel this kind of new, fresh energy coming through me and very excited about what's going to happen over the next couple of weeks. And I might talk about that a little bit in this podcast. But when Jen, Jen and I were on the beach, we're talking about what, what this podcast might be about. Last time the episode was like the best and the worst things about being in business for myself. And so the idea that came to me when I got out of the ocean which I have not told Genevieve yet because it's just better to spring it on her. Yeah. I'm an overthinker. She's definitely an overthinker. Because What is coming up in what I'm creating, what I'm going to put out in the world over the next two weeks is going to be about pushing the money button and making money, which is super exciting. I would like us to share the most exciting, fun things about being the moneymaker in your business.

GB:

That's a good topic.

CB:

Yeah,

GB:

that's a really good topic. Don't make me start though.

CB:

Yeah, I'm going to make you start. All right. We'll just think back to, this is the question I have for you. Okay. When was one of the first and most exciting moments where you like made like boom a big chunk of cash and you were like I'm a baller. I mean I

GB:

think it took a while for me to feel like a baller but probably when I painted my first mural in Darwin. And it's funny because at the time that was so much money, so much money. But I reflect back on that now and think about how much work I did for how little money, like I think for that whole project, which was like, four sides of a massive shed plus four walls in a school. And I think I got 1600 bucks, which don't get me wrong. At the time I was like, this is amazing. Imagine if I could do this all the time. But it took me weeks and was definitely an expensive experience in terms of expensive for, for, cost of supplies, but also my energy and time and all the things, but a very good Oh, I can make money from doing this. And then that was what then instigated me to okay, hang on. Now that I know how much supplies cost and now that I know how much time things are, and I was able to step back and look at it as a cool, I've done that project. What worked, what didn't work. Mm hmm. How do I want to do it again? and make it better. And I just got better and better and better at refining supplies that I use, not buying too much paint or buying, paints that I could mix or, or, asking friends for, um, help or, or supplies, whatever. And also upping what I was charging per square meter and, how much time I was spending on design work and everything until. I think probably it was another mural in Darwin and it was probably an, an eighth the size of that first initial one. And I got paid 15 grand and that I was like, now I'm a baller. Yeah. And it was also, sorry. And it was very, very expensive. The, the feeling like I was paid accordingly also made me do such better work and I like was loving going there and there wasn't one part of me that was like, Oh, I've got to push myself today, even though I was pushing myself, it, it, it it was worth it. It was worth every single

CB:

cent. And you had to do this 1, 600 job. And at that time, Phil. Like an iteration of you as a baller look at me, mate. This is the biggest chunk of money at that point in time that you've made to ever get to that point of then that's almost 10 X in that 15 grand for a mural. But all of the parts of you along the way had to happen to get you to that point. But what I love, what you shared in that 1600, 1600 wild example of that first moment of Oh, I can actually make money doing the work that I love is that's that feeling. That's a feeling I want to celebrate in, in, in the, in this episode of the podcast, like realizing you can be a moneymaker, realizing that you have capacity to create money doing work you love in the world. I was talking to Jen Jen a little bit about this on our beach wall. There's so many opportunities out there to make. money, but very often it's in someone else's business model. This is the way that you need to do things. And, and honestly, I, kudos to anyone who wants to go out and make money. I think I absolutely love moneymakers. I love supporting people to be moneymakers, but I know that my role in the world is supporting people to make money in a way that's aligned with their heart and their heart desires and their projects. the things that they really want to bring into the world versus there are amazing opportunities. You can go out and buy seller rights of somebody else's program and you can sell that and learn how to do digital marketing and make money that way. Or you can follow a particular kind of business model and marketing model in terms of creating online programs and all of that kind of stuff. And, I think there's, Amazing opportunities. We're like, we are freaking blessed. We talk about this in Dreamstream all the time, how blessed we are to be in this creator economy in this world where like we are overrun with opportunities in which we can make money. But the thing that gets me deeply excited is that little bit that you were talking about is, When you are doing your heart work in the world and you have those moments of Ooh, I've just realized I can make some solid money doing this. And even at that time, 1600 at the time, my God, it was huge. It felt like solid money. And then, as time progresses and you're in that process of a starting to have this identity as a moneymaker and look at, look what might be possible. I think that's all we need to do is to create an iteration of something can prove to ourselves, fuck everybody else, prove to ourselves that we are capable of making money and then have that little celebration inside, like what could be possible from here? Cause if, if we, this iteration of who I am with this crazy wavering, self doubt just trying to figure shit out. And I just made 1, Look at me go and then being committed to this process of, regroup, refine, uplevel again and again. What like, as you explained, what works, what doesn't work, more of this, less of that. Which is so much of what we've been doing over the last couple of years in life. Whatever it was, sisterhood, uplevel, high rollers and stuff like that. It doesn't matter. It's just being in this process of being committed to being a moneymaker. But figuring it out along the way. Does that make sense?

GB:

Yeah, absolutely.

CB:

Yeah, the two examples that, there's two that pop into mind for me, like moments of like fucking hell, like I've just made money, like good money. One was one year in five days, I made, I think it was 115, 000 and that's when we did Up Level Crew. I remember that. And I was like, what the actual hell?

GB:

Was that sorry to clarify, was that like a hundred, however much it was? Yeah. In your account? In that, or SI like for oh, no,

CB:

thank you for a answer. It was 115,000 in sales. Yeah. But I got the commitment and I, I I'd have to go back and have a look, but I made, I had five figures or more land in my bank account very quickly in that week. And then I had people committing to like payment plans and stuff like that over a period of time. That, moment of holy shit, how cool is this? It's fun. It becomes a game. Yeah. Look at me go. Like I am a moneymaker that felt like that, that, that was actually probably the beginning of me in the year or two that followed stepping into Heart Driven Moneymaker and doing Wake Up Moneymaker and stuff like that. Another time is actually more recently. And there's been lots of different examples of when, shit, when, when I. I did high rollers and I was selling 16, 000 packages and had a bunch of people sign up for that. That was pretty exciting. But the, the, the most, the other one that just really pops into my mind is last year sometime in, in complete transparency, I was like in mental and emotional struggle town and I wanted to make some money. and just set myself an intention and made a commitment and within a week I made 23, 000. Yeah, I remember that too. And

GB:

especially it stands out for me because I do remember the depths of pain I was in. Hell you were in.

CB:

I was in

GB:

Yeah,

CB:

so much pain. And it just

GB:

takes, it takes, not only does it take pressure off, but it, I said before, it feels like a game. It actually shifts you to focusing on that for a bit, rather than the hell ish stuff that's going on around you. And it just, it's

CB:

it is, it's like playing a game of Monopoly with your life. It put me back in, it made me go back into the, it was like I got back in the arena, so I made a commitment. Yeah, beautiful. I made, I made a commitment to myself. I was like this stuff that's happening in my life is intense and there's many things in which I cannot control. What are the things that I can control? And I was like, Oh, okay, cool. I can probably control what's happening in my business more than anything else. And so yeah, I set myself a little bit of a challenge and a container of time and got my whiteboard out and made a few offers and I made 23, 000 in that week, but then made more money in the weeks that followed. But it was like that moment, it's, that's what stuck in my mind. I was like, Oh, boom, game on. I can do this. I remind myself again and again that when I really need to, I can push the money button and bring some money into my business. And I think when you make those decisions, you also need to be in the right Headspace. Yeah, for sure. To be able to do that and that be the priority at the time. But you, headspace is a huge thing

GB:

because you, if you are trying to convince someone that they can do this too, and they are so adamant and they believe so hard. Mm-Hmm, it's just not for me. Mm-Hmm. you, it's like a losing battle. And like an example of that would be, I think pre me doing the mirroring. I had this. I know you will remember me saying this a lot. Yeah, but people don't need my artwork. They want it. It's a want, but not a need. And so therefore, how am I supposed to get this across the line in terms of consistently making money? Because it's like a luxury item and not paintings, or by any means luxury artworks. But it's definitely, I was, I was telling myself this story that not just, not just why would anyone spend this amount of money, but I don't need it. I'll live without it. They can live without it. Whereas I would say other people's businesses and see how much of an impact they're making. And I wasn't putting the two together. And so at that point, when you would talk to me about making money, I'd be like, it was fucking easy for you to say, because you're a bloody wizard of a coach or, whatever you were running, like whether it was your events or your online programs or doing a podcast or anything, I, Was I could see from the outside how it was positively impacting the people around you and Then they were then going on and bettering their lives because of it But I couldn't see that for me and it was like it doesn't matter how many conversations you'd had with me I needed to see the impact that I had firsthand to then go. Oh This is what everyone's talking about like how much of a positive impact this thing that I do or have or create You

CB:

Creates. That is one of my actual most favorite things that I love to teach. We taught it a lot in. Wake up moneymaker, which is now called the moneymaker activations, but we talk about really getting to understand the ripple effect of your work. And when you can get your energy behind the ripple effect of your work, it becomes less about you and you going out there just to make money versus I have, I have a service. I have a product. I have something I want to bring to the world and I know the positive impact and ripple effect it's going to have on the people of whom I am of service, if that makes sense. And when you can get your energy behind that, it's, it is so much easier to make money in the world. Huh. And definitely, it's so much easier now for you. I know you're about to, you are literally now effectively on maternity leave. And so I really eased into that.

GB:

I kept saying I was going on leave, going on leave. And now I really am. And I've even deleted social

CB:

deleted socials yesterday. So it was real now. And next time you hear from me, she really will have a baby. But what was I going to say about that is I hand on my heart, I can sit here in the car with you and say, I know that you know the ripple effect that those murals have on the schools, on the teachers, on the students, on the students, on their well being, on the energy of a place the ripple effect is very, very real. And because you know that, it's so much easier for you to have conversations with people to say, hey, I've got this thing, you should do it.

GB:

Yeah. But it also means that, It makes it easier for me when I do cold emails or reaching out that I'm very much Oh, if this isn't a hell yes, I'm, that's totally fine. Yeah. I'm not going to push this on you because then that feels like I'm trying to sell you on the reason why it's valuable. Yeah. There'll be schools that are like, Oh my God, we've been looking for someone for so long and you just perfectly arrived in exactly like the amount of murals that I've actually locked in have happened because, and they tell me this. On say like a Tuesday, they've had a staff meeting and they've talked about wanting to have a mural at the school. And on a Wednesday morning, out of nowhere, I've emailed them, completely cold emailed them. And it's been the perfect timing and the perfect fit. And they're the schools that are like all the clients that are just, they, they, they see the value in it as well. And you don't have to do this, like the selling part of it. Which was to start with one of the hardest bits. But now even when I do sell myself, I'm never like. I I'm going to convince you as to why what I do is valuable. You say, after meeting me, don't know. And or one conversation can't say it is then not my job to convince them otherwise, and that made it easier as well. And then that in turn, it's like, it's like a spinning wheel of then being able to do that then made my time become more valuable and all of the, the ripple effects of like, not wasting time chasing people who don't want you and it just, and then that in turn gives you more money and more time and it's, everything becomes more valuable and then you just start making more and doing

CB:

less. And I would, making more and doing less, which is also at the core of everything, essentialism. And everything that I've ever created. Yeah. Would you say that would be true at the core of everything I have ever, when people create a business and they, they do a bit of this and they do a bit of that and they do a bit of this, I will, I feel quite confident that from day one today, however many years down the track we are now. I have had this path of I help people get clarity to and get to the heart of what is essential for them so they can do less, make more of the things that they love, make more money and have way more time and spaciousness.

GB:

Oh yeah. And I know that if I like, for example, right now we would literally just having conversation on the beach that I'm feeling anxious about the fact that I haven't got as much money in my account as I normally would. And I'm. I'm about to lean into relying on my partner a bit more being in mum mode. I actually know sitting here, if I really wanted to make a few grand, I could just start in the next 10 days contacting schools and I could push myself and go and have meetings and lock things in and get deposit money and make it a reality and make the money. But I have enough. Awareness now after years of doing this and my body that I'm like actually that's not the priority

CB:

now It's definitely not the priority right now. But if you were If you weren't about to have a baby and you were going on leave you would probably be Do push the money button. 100 percent Yeah, I want to talk about it. Yeah, I want to talk about it and to be clear This came through over the weekend. So it's just some

GB:

probably refinement. There's

CB:

definitely a refinement coming to this, but if you know me by now, if you don't know me by now, is that a song? Yes. And I'm not going to continue. You will never, never. All right. If you know me, I can't believe what I'm saying. If you know me, you will know that I, I. Once I, once I get clarity, I'm an action taker, right? Boom, boom. And that is the thing that brings things into reality in the world. It shifts from a thought to a thing, to a reality, to something that is making money that then is giving you the funds that you need to live the life you want to live. fund the dreams that you have. That's something I've been thinking about so much with the shift of my business this year into Dream Maker vibe, right? To do with the Dream Maker cards and the dream stream that we're doing every Tuesday, which I freaking love. Is like, where does the kind of making money aspect come into this? Because last year and the year before we did a couple of iterations of wake up moneymaker crack of dawn sessions. Remember I was getting up at 6am and had such a positive ripple effect of those. But this year I've been trying to think, feel into how the making money making thing fits into what I'm providing. And it just came through to me so strong last week that it matters so much that we get comfortable. and learn how to make money. on a regular and consistent basis when we want to slash when we need to. The push of a button. At the push of a button. Push the money button. It's a banger of a title. I'm very excited about it. I think one of my gifts in the world, if I end up stopping doing my business, just come to me and I'll give you a title for your program because Yeah, you are very good at it. I am very good at that. One day we should just do an episode on all the different programs and events that I have done and the names of them and how good they are. I still remember the moment

GB:

that we named. That we came up with, I came up with and it landed the theme for Love Local, Let Love Roll. And we were in Melbourne and you were, you had been stressing because you couldn't come up with a theme. You were like, I normally have a theme by now and it's it was stressing you out. And I just, I don't know whether Lenny was playing in the background or something and I just said it and you banged my glass table so loud I thought it was gonna shatter and stood up and screamed and I think my ex at the time walked out and was like, you guys all right? I'm like, it's all good, she's just landed on a theme. But it happens like that and there's so much excitement and, and you know that it's the right thing when you get that, that ball of excitement and you're like, boom, yeah,

CB:

whether we, whether it's for a program or an event or a theme or a topic, cause often I have a topic for Dreamstream every week as well. It

GB:

wasn't Dreamstream one that I wasn't talking about at the kitchen

CB:

bench. I was at Jen's kitchen bench, geez, we're going a little tangent here, but this is perfect. Stick with us. I said to her over the. holidays. I was fully like I'm going into a year of recreation. I want to do things differently to the way I've done them before. I have had this very successful business model. I made, I said to Jen Jen on the beach over 120 K three years in a row at least. And It's great. And also I want to do it differently this year. And so I was, I'm shifting it. I'm changing it. I've got the Dream Makers card coming and we're going to talk about that more. And I said, I'm going to do this weekly call, call the stream, but I'm just like, I'm not hooked in, but we've been just been talking about Dream Makers on repeat. And she's let's call it the Dream Stream. I'm like, boom!

GB:

I should take a commission.

CB:

That's it. And it just comes together. And there is such an energy behind the name of things. So hang on. We're, what we've said now is that Jen's come up with two of your Hey, Love Local, no, excuse me. I named Love Local Fleurie. Let Love Rule was a theme. No, but what I'm saying is maybe I also have this gift. I think you do have the gift. I, do you know what my gift is? Making it a real thing. Touche. Touche. Bringing it back. I've been feeling into how much it matters that we make money, how much it matters that we love making money, how much it matters that we actually have the skills to make money. And I've had in the past a program called self doubt to six figures, but it was just something feeling and misalignment around that. And over the weekend I was like, boom, push the money button because you know what that is. I am going to help 10 people. who want to make an extra, I'm going to say five to 10, right? Five to 10 K between now and 30 June. So the end of June, right? It will be a six week program. It's live. People have got this in the bag. People have got this in the bag. Because I'll be mentoring.

GB:

Yeah. And 5 to 10K between now and June 30. In

CB:

addition to what they were otherwise going to be making. Do you know what I mean? And so it's a six week program and it's, the big part of it is like learning to push the money button so that you can make that extra money in the time. But the other part of it is We are firmly into quarter two of this year. When this actually rolls out and starts will be mid March cause I'm going to have this week and next week inviting people to be part of it. Massive, massive, massive incentive for people who sign up this week. This week's like pre sale week. So it'll be like a probably a third of the investment. And And that is because also I'm obsessed with action takers, courageous action takers and people who commit and get in and go this is what I want and I want to do this with you. But then we'll start mid March and it's six weeks, six weeks, we'll go mid May. Thank you. Go straight through to the 30th of June. And in that time, the whole intention is to upgrade your identity as a moneymaker. Yeah. I can literally walk you through the framework that is in my head which I will craft in the days as they unfold. But the first week will be around starting with why and getting super clear about why it matters to you to be a moneymaker and making more money in your life. And doing it in a way that's deeply aligned with your heart and your values and the way that you wanna do business. So no matter what kind of business you're in, you can be part of this. It doesn't need to be, you have to have an online coaching program or something like that. I'm not, I'm not creating a rinse and repeat model. Is that what it's called? Mm-Hmm. It's a, I'm gonna help you get at the heart of what's essential for you and create a six figure framework for you. So the first week is. That identity start with why, why it matters to you, the ripple effect that it's going to have, who's going to benefit, how fucking good it will be when you're making that kind of money on a regular and consistent basis. Cause that kind of sets the tone and the energy for where we're going. And super clear about how do you want to feel and what matters most and what. What do you value? Like really? And what's the vision, right? Always, always. That's the vision that goes. So that's in that first week. Second week is learning the, and creating your own six figure framework. So whilst this is just a six week program, my intention is to set people up with when we go through this six week program and then they step into the new financial year. July 1. We've not only just done this cool sprint together and made a bunch of cash but you've got clarity on a business model that you can take forward to then create your own six figure year and to repeat refine up level, which is what we were talking about. So in that second week, we'll do that six figure framework. And then, and business model math specific for your business. And then in the third week, what was I saying on the beach? The third week is stepping, like creating an identity of a moneymaker. I think there's so much in, what you and I were talking about throughout this podcast. But. Really stepping into this, like what is an identity of a money maker and what are the things you need to clean up and clear the decks on and the stories that you have been telling yourself versus what you need to tell yourself going forward.

GB:

Mm-Hmm,

CB:

but it's just so much more than a so many money programs that a money mindset program, right?

GB:

Yeah.

CB:

This is, and that is important, but it's, you also need to be able to get comfortable. Making money. Putting it into reality. And that's the, that's the bit I'm like more and more like really going, Oh, I just start to understand what my role in the world is. It's helping people bring their heart creations toward and making money doing the work that they love in the world so that they have the money to fund their dreams and have a greater ripple effect. So that second week is around identity. So it's what, what, no, one, two. That's the third week and I'm just riffing on stuff now. The fourth week is a really important week because I'm just going to skip forward a sec. In week five, we're going to do this really cool make 5k in five day sprint. Yeah, challenge. We're going to live into it. We're going to do it in real life together. On that week, I'm going to do a daily call. rather than generally throughout the program, it's going to be two calls a week, but I will be there holding everyone accountable and in the energy of let's do that sprint. Some people might set a bigger goal than that, but that's the kind of minimum goal that I want to set for people to do that 5k and five day sprint in that fifth week. So, there's so therefore going backwards in week four, it's all going to be about really shifting your energy around selling, being sleazy and it being like sexy as fuck, like really stepping into that ownership role of it's authentically being of service to people. Yeah. Which you do have to get comfortable with. So that's the reality of it. That if you want to be a moneymaker, that is the truth. So it's not, I'm going to sell this to you and convince this to convince you of doing this thing versus I've got a thing. I've got a thing.

GB:

I've

CB:

got

GB:

a And sometimes, yeah, it just takes someone else helping you get the right wording around how to sell that thing. Because you know it's valuable but your wording around it is muddly and messy and whatever and having conversations with you in the past has been, that's always been the biggest thing for me is it's I know what this is but I don't know how to explain it in a way that is sellable. And you're like here

CB:

you

GB:

go.

CB:

So we're in a problem for a profit. One of my most favorite things to do, but in that, so yeah, thank you, Jen. Like in that week it's shifting your identity, but also actively shifting into what does it even look like? To have something in the world that is authentically yours, your heart, you being in service, knowing what the ripple effect is and then finding people like, it's like a match match match situation, right here, I've got a service and this is the problem that can solve you. And And actually also stepping into that identity of selling stuff and being fine with it. You are a business person. You are a creator. If you're not here making, actively making money in your business, one more question, you can go back to that podcast with Toph. The first one I did with him, it's a hobby versus a profitable business. So it's really stepping into that identity. And then there's a pre sale element. And then in week five, we do the 5k and five days together. Like everyone who's in the program is going to be doing that together. Yep. So you're literally going to make more money than the program's going to cost you. Yeah. In that time together. And I was saying to Jen, I've done iterations of this before in other programs with myself, with programs that I run. And unquestionably, you make more money than you otherwise would being held. supported accountable. I'm a bit jealous.

GB:

I'm about to knock myself out of the game by having a baby because I'm like, Oh, this could be fun. I haven't done a, I've done your money programs in the past before. And there's sometimes been an element of a, not a sprint, but there's been like a, right now this week we're going to go for it. But I've never done it with my mural work. I've only ever done it with like selling of paintings or whatnot. But if I'd not like. In hindsight, looking back, I'm like, imagine how much I could do if I knew that that was coming and I could line up meetings with schools or clients to smash all these meetings out in a week and do all these proposals in a week. How much you could get locked in and, oh, it's, oh, I'm excited for the people.

CB:

I'm excited for the people. I'm excited for me. This is, this, this is the stuff that I love to literally, the people who do this, their success is my success, right? I want these people to have brilliant outcomes. And yes, the way that I'm setting it up, it's I'm going to invite people to do it now. It's the last week in April, right? I think we turn into May sometime in this week. Shit. We turn into May. Or the day after. I don't know. In this week, it will be May. And so I'm giving myself two weeks to invite people to be part of this. It might all happen this week. That's happened in the past. You never, never know. A, if you're listening to this podcast and you're like, I'm curious, then just please reach out to me today. Let's make this easy. But I am excited about it because we're going to create this collective energy and collective momentum. And the way that I've designed the program, I haven't even told you about week six yet. Quickly, the idea about week six, after we've done that sprint together and made all the money is that it is a week of then embodiment of being a moneymaker, right? So it's, yes, we'll celebrate, but what I, I, it's not just about the quick wins. Now I want the quick wins for you all. And I want you to embody what this means for you in the way forward. So we wrap up in that last week leading into June 30 June, I should say with you guys having a better financial outcome than you otherwise would have had. Full stop. I think, I feel like we could guarantee that if you do the work and do the program, you're going to have a better financial outcome ending 30 June than you otherwise would.

GB:

Yeah.

CB:

Full stop. Done. Declared. And so that, there's so much to celebrate about that and it takes you back to that first point. Remember when you made your 1600 bucks and you were like, Oh, now I've proven to myself I can make money. I can push the money button where to from here. Yeah. So that's what that week six is, is bringing it all together and I want to empower people to then have this framework that they then go and live into. Yeah. It is. I'm excited because it's so clearly coming out of me, which means it's meant to be. It's meant to be. But to, now that I've talked about the six weeks, reflect on what Jen Jen just said before, is it is exciting in the way that I've set it up, is if you know that you're going into a 5k in five day challenge in week five, and we've got four weeks leading into that, plus I will most likely do a little Kick off party on the 13th, like the week before because I want to set everyone up with here's the structure Here's the commitment. Here's the container. Here's the energy. Here's the people you're doing it with. This is your crew of 10 people. This is what you're gonna need to do and communicate with yourself and your family For this container of time for it to be really successful, but you're already knowing that that challenge is coming. You will start making money before that, but you can also start to prepare for that week and that is what we'll be doing. So I'm fizzing. Oh, I'm fizzing for the people too. Yeah. I'm excited. And for you, of course. Yeah.

GB:

Yeah. I'm

CB:

excited for me as well because I, I like, I love doing Dreamstream. I love it. Like Dreamstream is lighting me up and everyone. And also it's really fun to do something with a very specific outcome in mind

GB:

and everyone likes making money.

CB:

Yeah. Who the hell doesn't like making money? I don't know. I don't know. Here's a point I want to bring up. The people who say it's not really about the money. Bullshit. Sorry. Of

GB:

course there are people out there who would do what they do for free. But Sorry, do you like eating food? Do you like paying for your car? And your rent? And the clothes? And the coffee? And your pizza? Also there's no shame in wanting money. I know, I know, and I think that this is If there was, no one would want to win the lotto.

CB:

Yeah, yeah. Oh God. There is, it's like the fact that we say there's no shame in wanting to make money. Is a reflection of the fact that people feel shame around wanting to make money.

GB:

I think it's, it's not, I don't know whether it's around the shame of wanting to make it. It's the shame of admitting it or admitting that it's as important to them as they think. As it is and talking about it. Like I know there'll be people who listen to this podcast, who I've openly talked about what I've made on projects. And you've talked about it, they've been like, Oh, you shouldn't talk about that. That's private information for them. It's private information. Don't get me wrong, guys. I don't have 15 grand in my account right now. So you can try and rob me if you like, but there's absolutely no point. But like I, I think that the more we talk about it, the easier it is for then someone else to go and do this. And actually, I, I'm going to do a shout out to Tessa Bartholomew, sorry for my baby brain. I was about to call you Tessa Marie and I'm like, that is her middle name, but what's her last name? Yeah. Do you

CB:

know that the podcast that we did together, she listened to at least twice, maybe three times.

GB:

And this was the thing. So we, that we've had a conversation and we've had a few of them about. Talking about money and getting comfortable as a mural artist and making money and, and then being less shame in it and how important it actually is because I will in the art world, especially there's that whole starving artist mentality. And I never really got into that. It's never. being something that I have felt like I've needed to do. I've never been like, I want to be an artist, but I can't possibly make money. I'm like, I want to be an artist and I want to make money. But there's, it's a real thing for a lot of people. So I do know that there are people out there who are like, yeah, exactly. Like it's not about the money. They're not going to join you. Group anyway. No, I know and I'd massively call bullshit on that and don't get me wrong There are amazing Charitable people who do give their time and energy doing things for their for the love of their community and the people and everything Sure,

CB:

and that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about You as an individual in the world are deciding that you like for us to function in the world. Here's the simplicity. We need money to function in the world, to pay for our kids, to go to school. Some people need less

GB:

than others, but yeah,

CB:

we do. We do need money. There's yeah, absolutely. And So to move through the world and function in society, because I always say this to my kids, you can do whatever you want a lot as long as you can figure out how to also function in society. Does that make sense? So if my son wants to be a gamer, it's terrifying for me. And that's not in fact the truth to be, to his credit, he actually wants to be an underwater photographer. That's so cool. Isn't that very cool. But side with the side hustle of gaming, right? Yeah, cool. But the conversation that I have with him is I will support you to do the thing that you really want to do, but that doesn't include like days on the couch playing Rocket League, going nowhere with your life. You've got to figure out how to be a functioning member in society. Right? Yep. Just as an example. But what's come so clear to me recently with this whole dream maker and my beautiful, like I'm getting so much beautiful feedback with my dream maker cards and there's people out there in the world who are really responding to this call to courage, right? To courageously create and go after what they want and make the thing that they want in the world. But it actually also matters a vital part of the recipe. I am not here to teach you the entire recipe. I'm not here to teach you how to manage your money and be an accountant and invest wisely. I am here to help you. Get to the heart of what's essential for you and make money doing your heart work in the world So that's who it's for. The people who want to make money, make more money, get over their bullshit, courageously sell the thing that they want to sell and be of service to the world, have more money in their bank account, prove to themselves that they are an actual moneymaker, that they can push the money button when they want to. And if they want to slash need to, but it's not just to feed yourself and pay your rent, it's because then you get to invest in your business again. And then you get to grow your business and then you get to help more people, help more people, be of more service to more people. So it's, it's part of that ripple effect. Yeah. Yeah. And the ripple effect is very, very real. Yeah, I think, where the hell, I just went on a little bit of a roll about that. Where did that come from? We were talking about Tessa.

GB:

I'm not sure. You're asking the wrong person at the moment. I Baby brain.

CB:

Yeah. It's real. Anything else, because we, we, we, we will wrap it up with pulling a dream maker card just straight off the top of your head, the funnest things about being a moneymaker. Yeah.

GB:

I love that I have control over my life. And Just a small one. Yeah. It is, there are elements of it which are like, ooh, sometimes I get into a place of this has to work because I've got to pay rent. But then what's been really fun is in hindsight, I always look back on the moments when I thought I was in like the most struggled town. I'm like, oh, I came out of that the other side. Mm. I was fine. I was, I felt like I was dying at the time. I've got another song.

CB:

I'm still standing, better than I ever did. It, sometimes it says highs and lows. That's the truth of it.

GB:

Yeah, but I love that knowing that when someone pays me, it's, they're paying me. I'm not getting paid by a a boss. And don't get me wrong, sometimes I'm like, God, I'd love to just go to an office and do work and just get paid without having to think about it. But it really, it makes me feel like a bowler. Yeah. I love it. And I love, I actually, I can't believe these words are about to come out of my mouth. Yeah. I don't love doing my tax, but I love finding out, Oh fuck, I made a lot of money that year. Or what my sales were. And isn't it interesting, like I always, I think I texted you when I did mine recently I know I've been stressing about this, but I just did my, my tax return or I did my profit and loss and yeah, like my actual profit isn't, 100k, but I made 100k in sales this year or something and it's really, it's That is wild! That is wild! Not to be sneezed

CB:

at. Not to be sneezed at. Do you remember when I told you that fact that only 12 percent of women in business crack 100K?

GB:

Yeah.

CB:

12%. It's wild. 12%. And that's what kind of actually fires me up because one of the things we'll talk about in that week two, your six figure, your own six figure framework. To be honest with you, I'm going to say this. Ready? It's not enough. It's just the beginning. Oh especially,

GB:

we could go into a whole tangent about the cost of living at the moment. I had a I'm looking after my nephews at the moment. And luckily, like my sister gave me some cash to get them groceries and stuff, but we did the pre going back to school shop and as someone who's about to have a baby and so therefore adding another human that they need to feed into their budget. Cause for forever, it's just been me and or me and Tommy. I was like, The words, I couldn't believe the words that were coming out of my mouth. I was saying things like inflation and the cost of living in the supermarket. I was like, this is ridiculous but it really shit's getting expensive and I'm in a really lucky position with my rental situation, but the idea of then having to go and find a rent we could go into a massive thing about Money and the value of money and how it was, what it was versus what it is now and everything. But

CB:

if you're, if you're not at least aiming to figure out how to crack your first six figures, doing your heart's work in the world, if that's who you want to be, if that's what you're striving for, then Probs not for you. Probs. Not for you. I, because it's, you need to be in the money making game. You need to be in the money making game. Cool. Let's pull a card. Let's pull a card. First of all, is that the prettiest thing ever? I'd like them to be in a little bit more of a rainbow order, but yes, it's very pretty. Just the colors of these cards. They are great. I pulled some of your cards out over the weekend. Did I send you a photo? No, you didn't. The one I called bitch, please. Yeah.

GB:

Get real. That's basically what that card's saying.

CB:

Get real.

GB:

Get real. Get real with yourself. Stop second guessing yourself. Stop talking down to yourself. Bitch, please. You got

CB:

this. You're fine. So that's a message to anyone who's I think I want to do push the money button with CB, but I'm scared. Yeah, bitch, please. Fucking get over it. Just do it. I know.

GB:

There's been a lot of swear words in this. Sorry, guys.

CB:

Yeah, I think I'm just back in swearing land, probably. Did you leave it? I did. Oh really? Go back and listen to the first few episodes of the year, except maybe the one with Ange. I really tried to, not tried, I was just becoming a less wary person. It doesn't fit. Doesn't fit. Okay. Great. So let's pull a card. Thank you everybody for being here. Thank you Jen Jen for being here. I'm glad I snuck one in on you before you had your baby. Oh, I knew it was possible. Okay. She's always been one of the believers. I lured her down here with a call of a beach walk and was like, Hmm, while you're here, let's do

GB:

a CBGB. I always messaged you last night to say we should do a podcast and then you'd said you had to work. So I was like, Oh, I do have to

CB:

work, but effectively, I think we just had a cracking conversation. I just need to go back and listen to this and put that all in my sales copy. It's literally in my head. It's as easy

GB:

as that people. You don't need to rewrite shit. You just need to reuse the stuff that you've done. Said

CB:

no shit. I can, I can tell you one of the things I am actually very good at is ideation into reality and make money with it. Because we will lay down perfection. We will just done is better than perfect to make sure reality. And look, all I can say is. Watch this space and join push the money button and spend you know the last six weeks of the financial year with me. Let's have a, let's have a cracking good time. All right, when should I stop? Pull a card. Nothing's jumping out.

GB:

I'll just pick one.

CB:

Okay.

GB:

Oh! One flew out. Where is it? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. There you go. This. Is. Happening. That's the card. That's, that's what the card says. The card says, this is happening. And what's your interpretation of that? This is happening. I, I'm, I'm having a baby. It's happening. I'm doing push the money

CB:

button. This is happening. Yeah. Nice. Yeah. All right, beautiful. Perfect way to wrap up. Thank you everyone for being here. If you're curious about push the money button, send me a DM on Instagram or an email or a text message, if you have my number. Let's all hold space for Jen Jen to have a safe and healthy and happy day. experience of birthing her baby and as Kimberley, let's do a little shout out to Kimberley. Oh gosh, she's been wonderful. We love Kimberley Garrard. Dr. Kimberley, we're calling her now. She's got a new podcast no KGs. You know too many KGs. Yeah, sorry mate. Dr. Kimberley is what I'm calling her. She's got a new podcast This Somatic Life, and she is a chiro and a somatic birth coach. Let's Practitioner. Practitioner. I'm not really sure. It doesn't matter. But I did her

GB:

somatic birth workshop with Tommy and it was like the best thing I've done this pregnancy.

CB:

Yeah. And one of the things that you have reiterated since you saw her, and I think it, it suits anyone who's birthing a baby or birthing a business, birthing a business is don't forget that you have the choice to. enjoy the process. Yeah.

GB:

Oh, a hundred percent. And I really, every time I start to freak out about pushing a baby out, I'm like I can also enjoy it. It might not be comfortable, but. Some of the best things in life are a little bit uncomfortable.

CB:

I think most of the things when we're birthing something new into the world is a little bit uncomfortable and I, I don't think there's ever a Dream Makers conversation where we're not talking about that in some way. Let's just get real. The discomfort is, is exciting because the baby slash the business slash the dream is on the way. Yeah,

GB:

I'm excited.

CB:

So yeah, holding space for you to have a beautiful experience. I cannot wait to be holding the baby. You and me both. I think it's exciting. I know we just, let's not go on a whole nother episode of, of how excited I am to be an auntie. But it feels like more than that. We've got a special relationship. We do. And my kids are salt starter as well, yep, there's a car starting up next to us. Good time for us to wrap up the podcast. Love you all dearly. Thank you for being here. You can't send Jen Jen a message, but you can send one through me if you want to. Or you can, she's, she's accessible via email, I think, but she's turned all her socials off. But I think if we just collectively hold for you to have a beautiful experience. Thank you. And we can collectively hold for me and whoever the 10 people are who decide to do push the money button. You're pushing a baby out. We're pushing money out into the world. No, no, sorry. We're pushing our heart creations out into the world and receiving the magic of the baby slash money. Yeah. Brilliant. And the last card I pulled is, are you sick of your bullshit yet? Yeah. Bitch, please. Bitch, please. Let's just do this. Let's have a good time. Love you dearly. Thanks for being on the podcast with me. Bye. Bye.
